Do I need/have to install crossovers

All component sets ive seen come with crossovers, but seeing as I wont be installing a sub anytime soon, can I just replace the clios standard speakers and not bother with the crossovers?

If u dont want 2 use the passive crossovers theres not much point in buyin a component set. the crossover filters the sound so the tweeters have no mid etc, if u dont want crossovers then a decent set of 2ways is the best option.

the wont perform as well, as both speakers will be trying to play full range, and as it can only play certain ranges well, it will make them worse SQ and prob SPL. also you will have unneeded overlap of freq.

Also they have nothing to do with a sub! - (i dont see the connection looks as if you are confused)

Also crossovers shouldnt be too hard to install, just use velcro or somthing similar to attach them in the tops of the foot wells.

Yes if you want decent sound !! Even if you have no disire to fit a sub !!

Trust me use the cross overs !! It will be worth it !!
