So glad i've found this place, owned loads of cars over the years from 1.0 novas to an M3 but my first ever "proper" car was a 1.8 16v clio which 11 years later I still own.

The reason i've just joined is because i've recently bought a 172 cup which for the money is probably the best car i've owned. I plan to do a few modifications once I get the chance so will eventually post some pictures (its totally standard at the moment).

Anyway thanks and I look forward to meeting some of you at some point.

I've been on here for a couple of weeks just reading the hundreds of project threads, it really is packed full of great advice and ideas. At heart I'm a motorcycle guy so for the last few years i've been on mainly those forums, the only other car forums I go on is Passionford and Turbosport for the great project threads.

My 172 won't have any crazy modifications, just general enhancements but my 1.8 16v will one day be brought out of storage and hopefully become something abit more special.
