Does Every body have the same problem

I just bought a 1.4 dynamique
i was just wondering if everyone get the same problem as me
when i put my right foot down the car does nothing for about a second and then starts shifting its really annoying me atm.

did your last car have cable throttle? maby your just not used to fly by wire although it shouldnt be that bad?

I notice the fly by wire on my car although its doesnt have a second delay.

fly by wire would have a delay. not going through a computer has a delay, thats why alot of 182 owners have had the conversion for track use, means you can blip the accelarator when downchanging.

so it will be the same for most clios

A 1.4/1.6 drives like an angel from cold compared to a 172!

does sound like the fly by wire system.

no where near as quick as a traditional cable set up.
