DOG BONE MOUNT

i own a 1.6 16v, is it possible to put a 172 dog bone mount on?

standard dog bone bushes are s**t. unless you cant get a solid mount dog bone bush? then id go with polyurethene

Ive had mine replaced on my 1.4 but it still moves more than i think it should, is this right?

I changed mine in my cup, stiffened it up a treat but it passes all the vibrations of the engine through to the cabin and steering wheel, doesnt feel so comfy but that only matters if your bothered. good mod, had it on for around a year and other engine mounts are still OK, gonna replace them too though but with fresh standard items.

standard are crap, i fitted poly bushes to mine couldn't stand driving it without now

i've yet to drive the car since i've fitted the 172 lump but i would imagine its going to be much the same story
