Door handle type?

The interior drivers side door handles plastic surround is cracked, it looks like the middle holding screw was fastened too tightly.

Anyway i just did a search on ebay for "clio door handle" and it seems here are 2 types "rod" and "cable". Does anyone know which type i need for my Mk2 Ph1?

Cable type. When you remove the interior handle there will be a metal cable which goes into a circular metal block, the block fits into the back of the door handle.

Easy to change over, just look at how they are, undo the cable & put it back in again (in the new handle) When re fitting, screw them up so they aren't overly tight as otherwise the same thing will happen. Sorted.

Back to ebay i go. Ohhh might even splash out on some of these bling bling chrome bad boy ones!

Chrome ones are around £25 for a decent pair. You don't really wanna pay more than that really.
