Downgrading firmware psp?

ive got a psp with firmware v2.00 is it possible to do it and HAS anyone actually done this and got the software they used as i dont wanna fook up the psp!!

i've not bothered as i didn't want to knacker it, i buy all original games anyway

I have done it with mine, but only to run homebrew applications, such as the Wifi Shoutcast radio application, very handy for work.

No point really anymore unless your really into it, as games out now require v2.00 firmware or above, and there is already a homebrew loader for 2.00 now, the only thing that doesn't work is the umd emulator
