am i the only person stupid enough to go out playing in the snow??

i got stuck twice on a junction at my mates house.
i lost control more times that i can count. its quality fun, the bigger tyres i now own have absolutly NO grip at all.

i left the orriginal sound on so you can listen to the engine and ABS all doing their bits!

no but theres a time and a place.. late on in EMPTY carparks not streets with kids playing and cars parked up..

if anyone did that around my nephew playing down my street they'd receive a brick through their car window while theyre driving.

nope! me and my mates have been out to a place called 'american adventure' its a theme park got a nice big car park, nothing to hit apart from kurbs, but u dont have to go anywhere near them. it is great fun, do at your own risk though!!

no, just believe that was very stupid and irresponsible doing it in a built up area with kids around.

maybe so on the estates but they dont fight with chainsaws in the highstreet and steal cars at gun point. gotta love lincoln for that and the good old giles.

p.s. i dont even live IN grimsby.

should have put the last clip down the country road on 2x speed.

would have looked like a rally stage then.

na, my tyres are so fat they u really have to go some to hit the alloys. thats why im not looking 4wards to getting my new ones on!

i always face the tyre to the curb as apposed to trying to turn away from it and ending up damaging your alloys.

not the speed but sliding sideways uncontrollably in a built up area on purpose is a bit irresponsilbe in my opinion.


watch them kerbs.. i smashed a wheel in half on my old car hitting a kerb in the snow at about 5mph, it never was the same. think it bent the chasis leg or something.

LOL good vid harry. didnt seem to be getting very far most of the time. Like the ending touch I'm going out for a play tonight with my mates in a loading bay, will try and get some vids too. I'm pretty good and handling in slippery conditions, went into a supermarket car park and got my mum and her friend screaming to stop going sideways. Haha had complete control.

Oh and I'd never do anything near kerbs, cant afford to scratch them.

Exactly, some of my mates drive like nutters. If you threw a brick through there window, they would probably stamp on your head and run you over.

Once you are used to it it becomes quite controllable TBH - but at the same time in snow you never know when you could just hit total ICE and be properly fucked.

I need to find myself a video camera.

Ive got to say i WOULDNT do it in the street 'cos of young kids and stuff and mainly i wouldnt want to curb my alloys lol but im sure the chap didnt mean to slide on the bend...it didnt look as though he was going above 5MPH

Also theres a couple of married old pr*cks around here that are worse than the young ones in their cars so its not always the young 'uns

our street was like an ice rink this morning (never gets gritted) yet i managed to keep the car under control.

theres no way he went round every corner going sideways and having to recorrect the steering nearly hitting kerbs without driving wrecklesly.

and sitting there in 4th gear wheel spinning.. all you have to do is let the clutch out slowly in first.. trying to go faster just makes you spin more.

i have never made a claim in the 4 years i have been driving.
its more likly to be someone in a 182 who is married and out drunk driving or doing the suduko whilst driving to work, becuase hes bored of his miserable life.

i love every second of driving and ill do what i can to stay on the roads.
im glad some people know the difference between fun and being a miserable tw*t.
this thread is not a driving tail and its not me showing off how good i am at driving. its been snowing and i had fun end of.

im not being a miserable t**t, yes doing it down old country lanes fair enough. but in built up areas while kids are playing round is just stupid. all it takes is one slight mistake, little bit too fast, little too much on the handbrake and it could all end in tears.. and mistakes DO happen. down the lanes doesnt matter as its only your little clio that could be ditched.

p.s., i dont think anyoone driving a 182 could have a miserable life


as for asking him why hes on cliosport.. thought this was a car club for clio owners and enthusiast, not just the max power crew who want to handbrake turn down streets while kids are playing in the snow.

Leave the videos up mate!!! There are plenty of other people on here who enjoy seeing videos like this - there are also those who will moan but just let them.

I agree that people take things to seriously on here now. If you say you broke the speed limit by 2mph there are some that will moan at you for that which just get annoying TBH.
