This wouldn't be that bad if I didn't know that the car in the picture was broken for parts around two years ago! Lol.

I'm at the limit of what I can really do with the Evo. Next expenditure is 2k for a rod job and then bigger turbo etc.

If they've not sought permission from whomever owns the picture then IIRC they can be done.
Although if it's not possible to figure out who the picture belongs to it's fair game.

5 seconds on Google shows the original project thread so it's hard to claim they couldn't find out who took the picture.

Theoretically you could invoice them for unauthorised use of your image.
