Any body used these guys? They seem to have a fair few clios for sale at the moment, thinking of going up and having a look but could do with a heads up as to whether they are any good if any body knows owt before I make the 200 mile round trip!

They seemed a canny bunch and new what they were talking about when I was looking for a 182. I haven’t heard any horror storeys so it may be worth it if you have spotted a good deal.

i went to buy a clio from there once i got there it was sold but the bloke seamed canny and only buys in clios with FSH and if they are near or due a cambelt change he will do it and also changes dephaser

I was looking at some clio's there recently. Spoke to him a few times and seems decent enough.

Missed out on a lovely 172 cup by about 5 minutes a couple of weeks ago that they had.

I was gonna have a look at that cup, but idk, seems a bit of a shed?

All I could see what the back passenger wheel had paint flake, strange private reg, crap sony head unit, wire hanging down that probably go to the shocking rear parcel shelf, bad looking miltek.
Surely this doesn't warrant what i'd guess at £1000 off the value and wouldn't be too much effort to put right.

I reckon that will need work on the body to make it mint - probably got a few dents and scrapes that don't show up on the pictures.

The cup is missing its Cup Spoiler, and its Cup Washer Blancs, it also has a FF interior fitted, Its cheap for that reason, was a Part Exchange accoring to DTM, body work wise, the Bonnet needed tarted and the spoiler repainted.

Wheels are needing a referb.

Apart from that the car drives suberb i test drove it last week while up there

A lad from work showed me that cup today. He wants to go see it... He's not intested in how it looks aslong as its reliable. I picked up on the non cup parts and things.

hes used to £500 quid bangers so this is a step up in the world.

Jon it's mechanical sound. Just ask for a drive you'll see yiur self, he'll even do the belts for you at trade price if you ask

Just picked mine up from DTM's. Had the belts, water pump and dephaser and all seems spot on. 2 sound lads also, Trev the owner and Andy who does the belts. Definately recommend them and its a relief knowing that there is a specialist in the N.East who knows what they are doing!

I'm off up there soon to try and px my non sport in for this if its as clean as i hope it is and they accept my clio as px with a reasonable price.

It sold last night James, It was MINT.

He has a 182 Clio Cup Packed in Arctic Blue and also a Silver 172. Hes sold 5 This week!!

NOOOOO I was planning on coming up this weekend! the 182 cup is out my budget, looks like i'll have to save a bit more. I was looking for between £2000-2500. Not seen the silver 172 yet ill have a look online.
