Dual 19inch Widescreens?

Does anyone run dual widescreen monitors?

Basically I need them for CAD and their helpfull for any kind of computer work.

I want dual screens, but then I don't want 2 square monitors as I would also like to watch films and play games etc... So widescreen is a must.

Thought about maybe one 19 widescreen and a 17inch square next to it? so long as its the same make/look/colour and height possibly?

Any ideas guys?

Why not just get one huge one?

Remember the res on a bigger monitor will be greater.

Go with 2 of the same monitors looks much better. But if your not bothered about that then yer go for it, they both have the same res too which is a bonus.

Getting one huge one isnt really an option as its a pain in the ass having to constantly switch between documents/CAD stuff/matlab etc while ure working... unless theres a way to litterally split the screen in half in windows? But i dont think there is?

The resolution on 19" widescreens is normally fairly pants, something like 1440*900, so go for a 20.1" or 22" instead. Or even larger if the budget extends that far.

but surely the only reason there are more pixels in that one are simply because its a bigger screen?

Well yeah I have to use it in july when i start work at DENSO doing ECU systems s**t. I aint got a clue how to use it, even though I passed a module in it.. Im a pro at modifying Mfiles LOL
