E-Bay Dilema

just looking around E-Bay to buy a new amp

now the guy has quiet a poor rating but most seem to be because he didnt warn people about the import tax
the only thing is though is that the amp is £999 on car audio direct, so with £100 import tax this would still be over £300 cheaper than CAD.

Buy it or not is the question??

I paid £80 odd to have a £250 (converted U.S price) radio imported. I think youll be looking at slightly more than £100 to get that into the UK.

Youd be better off trying to find a second hand one here instead.

avoid him m8, get it from the uk where ull b garanteed the product

he has lots of bad feedback, not all about the import tax either

+ he seems crap at communication 2 ppl, lots of complaints

I like the fact that the auction states the item is located in the UK, when it is infact not.

I hate scammers on ebay.

Yep Rich is right, we both looked into importing a JL 500/1 into the country for my setup, in the end it worked out easier and cheaper to get a second hand one here. You could try and get them to label it up as a gift, but tbh the 500/1 is so f**king heavy the chances of you getting away with it would be slim to none!

i think im going have to save up some bucks to get this bad boy
