E63 Signal

got a nokia e63 other week for an upgrade...

had to take it back and got it swapped for another e63 due to not regaining signal after it loses it

this one is the same, when it loses signal i have to turn it off and on to get signal again, and more often than not its starts up with full signal.

i noticed its when it get cold due to not working through the day inside, im out and about.

anyone else having similar problems with the phone?

I have a Nokia N97 mini and sometimes it does this. Also had trouble with the touch screen stopping working.

Sounds like a sim voltage error, how old is the sim?

erm will be nearly 3 years, but it worked fine on my phone before i upgraded. maybe upgraded sim for newer phones needed?

Get a new sim. Update the firmware.

ok i might try that it is worn to be fair too. do you mean just upload the latest siftware for it? off nokia website yeah?
