Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion (360)

  UR R26R.5, VW Golf R
Well, got this on Friday, and I can see when you finally escape from the dungeon just how big this game is. Graphics are top notch with the scenery etc flowing in the breeze and all that jazz. However, I feel it might just be a tad too big. I dont get much time to mess about on the 360, and I think this game might be completely wasted considering the amount of time and effort that has to go into it, which is a real shame. I'm not fussed, as I'll still play it all the time, but if anyone offers me around £25 they can buy it off me. PM if interested. As I say, not overly fussed, but with Rainbow Six coming today, I think I've overdosed on top quality games :(
Would put in For Sale section too, but its more a short description of the game and the dedication it needs, which I doubt I can offer at this time.

I sold it before I'd even got out of the dungeon hehe

To much pissing about, I like simple games (like R6) :D

Its a lot better when you get outside. You're weapon skills etc increase so its not just thrusting your daggar at things, its thrusting with speed, and swinging it about and the like, much quicker. I only wandered around outside for about an hour, but the size of the game must be enormous. I tried to steal a horse too, but got caught so fled then went back at night and kicked f*ck out of the stable owners and one of the horses.

you can allways play it till you get to steal a horse, then you can ride around the country. tis too long and boring really.

got it on PC - graphics are even better than 360 - still mind numbingly boring with poor voice acting, chracter animation etc - the environment is stunnng though - i just got sick of all the dull quests etc.

You need to put a lot of time into it thats for sure.. Its not that big a game really though, and you can quick jump between locations.

Scutch, stick with it mate, seriously, the first few hours you feel a bit overwhelmed and lost, I did too as this isn't my usual type of game, but once you get a flavour for what you need to do and the game becomes a little familiar you soon get into it and it's almost imopssible to put down! Give it another 5 hours of play, you will be hooked imo!
