Electrical Issues - UCH?

Getting a few electrical issues/gremlins with the 172.

Initially noticed it occasionally doesn't want to start, you'll just get a few clicks but no attempt to start. Then if you hold the key to start, it sounds dead but sometimes there is just enough that it kicks over.

Noticed today that it had difficulty starting, and then when it did turn over, the hazards were flashing even though the button was not pushed in. Pressing the hazard switch made no difference. Turned the car off and on, and it started without them flashing.

Last week, there was one occasion where the drivers electric window would not go up or down at all. Then suddenly it did, and has been fine ever since.

Could it just be an earthing problem? Or is this starting to sound like a UCH issue?

Sounds like the UCH yeah.

Check that you're not getting any water ingress in the footwell where it's mounted.

It does run down that side doesn't it.

Yup I speak from experience that's where mine was leaking.
