Electrics...

  Clio 1.5 DCI
Okay so when trying to get one of the leads out of my standard stereo. there was a little spark and that was it. now i have no interior light, radio, clock etc. but my cigarette lighter still works, making me wonder, its not the fuse.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

thats what i thought. but the same fuse controls the radio, clock and cigarette lighter. so its left me a bit baffled. :s

cars/electrics ca do silly things! Similar happened to me when i had my first car, nothing inside would work stereo/clock/light etc until you revved the car. I changed the alternator and it turned out to be a fuse. Learn from your mistakes eh!

Will 100% be a fuse. I lost all the rear lights on my car about 8 months ago and the AA guy could not find the problem. Went to renault and it was the fuse that does the cigaret lighter :/ Was impossible to find and no idea why it would be linked to the rear lights.

It will be a blue 15Amp fuse for the radio. A baby sized one. I plugged my charger splitter cable in and it had a loose wire which arced and blew the fuse. So i changed it and it was fine.
