we have a 172 cup car which is about to be prepped for 3hr endurance racing here in dubai. the car was previously rebuilt to run in britcar so there isn't a great deal on the 'to do' list but engine cooling is the main area for improvement. we already have issues on trackdays.
plan so far is to fit an alloy header tank and silicon hose kit from forge. question is now what radiator to fit and from whom? the car currently has an OEM rad so there's room to go wider and deeper and upgrade to twin fans. would prefer to buy off the shelf rather than have something custom made.
just wondering what others are using, what upgrades are popular/tried & tested before we start experimenting. does anyone know what the clio 3 endurance cars use? would a gearbox cooler be required? we have the earlier sadev sequential.
