Ethernet splitter

Due to the new addition to the desk (PS5 init) I bought a 1 into 2 Ethernet splitter to enable the PS5 and PC both to be hard wired.

I did think that adding an extra connection/termination may affect the speed, but Jesus it’s made it awful. So bad that I’ve had to ditch the splitter altogether.

This is the one I went for, is it worth while getting a higher quality one?
