A few piccies I took yesterday and today at Silverstone.

Some good pics there Lee. I only took a couple whilst I was there today. I wish I spent more time getting good photos but the pros were making me feel inadequate with their hoooge lenses.
Where did you get your passes from mate? If I can get hold of some of those Ill probably go to the next one in September. It was a bit of a bummer that they had cordoned off most of the circuit to spectators.
Still, it was a really good day and Im glad I made the effort to go. The noise was great with all the popping and banging then screaming acceleration, and the speed they carried into the corners was insane! It really had to be seen to be believed.Here are a couple of the photos I took:

Wow Malice though pics are ace, you must have been one of the people on the terraces with an ace camera and huuuuuuge lens i was admiring enviously.

thanks lol, got a few more i might psot up later, i was there with my nikon d70 lol and 75-240mm lens... however was stood next to a couple of guys who were hardcore lol, was chatting to the 1 who seemed to know his sh*t had cannon eos d mrk2 i think it was but basically a couple of k for the body and the lens he had was massive lol, was a nice bit of kit... oh and the lens yours for around 15k second hand

Malice, Just looked up your camera on pixmania, looks pretty tasty, im thinking a digital SLR is the way to go then the next time i buy a camera but my trusty HP will have to do me a while yet though.
Just out of interest what shutter speed were you at?, i think mine were mainly at 1/500 or 1/720 but the camera decided its settings automatically.

hi cant remember what they looked like lol i was getting excited about the camera and lens lol,
i use the d70 atm but upgradng soon to the d2x allthough tbh the camera does every thing i need, just want a few extras
as for shutter speeds .... shutterspeeds varied through the day from 1/200 to 1/750 ish ... iso 200 with a low appature
