Hey, as i know that you two are interior swapping guru's i was hoping to get some advice, im going to pick up a new interior for my car in the next couple of days and was just hoping to clarify a few points...

1) What size is the torx (i think thats what it called) screw that holds the rear bench in the car?

2) What is the likelyhood of fitting the interior in to my Clio if i strip as much as i can out, i think i recall you saying john that you had managed this before but just need to know

3) Is there any guide i can use to help my way through changing the front seats again i think there was a draft of one floating about.

Any help you guys or anyone else can offer will be much appreciated

2) Easily done mate, Mitch is just weak! Hadnt even taken out the rear doorcards, but maybe would if I did it again

What size is the bolt in the second pic down that sits in the middle, is that the 17mm one?

Second pic down is a torx bit or a star bit? Im unsure however thats my car in the pics and i did the rears and me and the Evil one both did the fornts. I'll locate the piece I used for that in a mo and tell you.

T40-T50 the torx bit needed iirc

Lol its not difficult at worst one of the nuts/bolts will be seized on , my bet is the one for the rear seat

yeah lol, also the two 13mm nuts that hold the bar in place over the rear seat bolt is hard to get out too as that seizes

Right ok, my car has gone on a crash diet, lol, ive got the backs out the only bolt that had seized was the black one in the middle, bl**dy thing, lol.

Im going to attempt to take the passenger side now i think, keep your eyes peeled for pics

Job is a piece of piss fella. As for the Bolt that has "Seized" is it the one holding the rear seat back (part you lean against not the part you put your ass on) lower Bracket into the car? If so you only need to remove one of the bolts (forget the colour now) as there is a slot in the other side of the bracket so all it does is locate rather than fix down the bracket.

^^^ There you are, lol, ive got the interior pretty much fully installed now im goin to finish off everything tommorrow and get some pictures up, bought the 172 CUP interior, got it for £150 and got basically everything, stuff im not even going to use, lol.

Yeah I got everything with mine, apart from dash, steering wheel and gear stick stuff.

why have you gone for the cup interior? its still cloth...cant remember what model you have, if its not the 'S' like mine and johns I spose you didnt have the sporty cloth seats.

No its not an 'S', the fella gave me everything but the dash and steering wheel, i got all the gear stick and handbrake surround. I quite like the cup interior, its a subtle upgrade and the provide more support and are just a better seat.

cool, do the door card fit in your car? as i guess the cup is a ph2.

I havent used the front door cards as they are a different shape, but i have utalised the rears, keep out for pics later on...
