Quick question about this site.

Im guessing it runs on Vbulletin yes? What type of things do you use to stop people from joining and constantly spamming your private inbox with crap??

Are there any add ons to do this?

I have no knowledge what so-ever but on a PC site i use we are having issues with this.

The forum is vBulletin yes.

Give me an example of the sort of think being sent via PM.

PS - Moved to tech chat as the question relates to another forum and leaving it in questions about our forum may cause confusion.

Do you mean spam bots? Make sure you have that CAPTCHA activated and even the registration confirmation e-mail so they can't just join with a fake e-mail and post s**t straight away.

Sounds like bots in that case.

Whatever site/forum your using isn't filtering them properly so it's relatively easy for them to register. Most websites/forum will use something like CAPTCHA or ask you to answer a question which "normally" is sufficient to filter out the real humans from the bots.
