Fault Code

  Megane 265 Cup
Hi everyone, I am new to the forums, bought myself a 182 recently and really like it but sadly I now have a warning light on the dash on.

I did the little diagnostic check after reading how to and I have the fault code

t---

I also read this is an injector problem/fault? Can anyone elaborate on that for me? I am not very technically minded when it comes to cars just know the basics.

Is an injector problem a big problem? Cost much to fix etc?

Thanks

:(

Sorry, it is the emissions warning light thing in the bottom right, I assume the fault code and it are related?

No they're not related I wouldn't have thought.

Try clearing the t--- by resetting it and see if it reappears.

The emissions warning light is probably the post cat lambda.

How do I reset the error codes?

The car does seem to idle quite lumpy too by the way if that indicates anything?

Reset the code by pressing the mileage reset button (on the dials) whilst the t--- is displayed.

They all idle lumpy to be fair, the post cat lambda is for the emissions really. Does it otherwise run ok?

The light flashes now and again then goes on solid for a day or two at a time then goes out again for a while and this repeats....the only other strange thing was one day on the motorway i put my foot down to speed up and the car got to 3k RPM and just stopped with my foot on the floor it wouldn't speed up or rev past 3k...that has only happened once but once I took my foot off the accelerator and put it on again everything was fine and it revved as normal and sped up....weird :s

Anyone got any further views? Just the lamda sensor or something more to it do you think?
