Few Questions Regarding Waxing

  BMW 320ci
I know there is plenty of these threads and I did do a search but still have a few questions.

Basically over the next week I'm going to be waxing several cars, two of which dark colours (black & darkish grey) and a white car. I've been looking at the Dodo stuff but they all seem to mention colours so will I need two waxes? I'm looking for a wax that's going to last longer than a week as I don't have enough time to clean two cars regularly. Also a budget of up to £60.

Any recommendations is appreciated and thanks.

The dodo juice waxes can be used on any colour cars, but they aren't very durable in my experience.

O right cheers for that mate, I'm looking at either Vic Red Concours or Chemical Guys 50/50.

I have just used the high definition Autoglym wax which I paid over the odds for at Halfords but understand it can be purchased much cheaper online. I have to say the finish was great and although only a small tub I used very little of it and from reading on here it seems to last ok.

The dodo waxes can be used on any colour really, you dont have to stick to using them for colour specific jobs, And as regards to the life span of them that depends as to wether you use a hard or soft was for example dodo juice orange crush - soft wax, dodo juice banana amour - hard wax ;)

Nattys Paste Blue Wax stuff is pretty epic for the price. Smells excellent too. Don't worry about colours.

R222 is pretty good too .. bit more expensive but rather nice.

Make sure you've prepared the surface properly .. otherwise not really worth it for looks and also you might be waxing in (scratching in) dirt !

MY Golf was polished extremely well and i used to use Collinite 476. A decent wax adds a tad to the finish. Whereas a good polish adds alot more.
