Finding problem - grinding/rumbling/juddering

  80MPG BEEZA
trying to sort this problem out, when i accelerate full throttle at certain revs i get a grinding/juddering noise the higher the gear the less frequent it does it, i've checked the engine mounts and the engine is nice and tight and the manifold is knowere near the subframe, so i know thats not knocking.

it seems to be random as sometimes i may get through the whole gear without it happening now and then and i can also take it slowly through the entire rev range without it happening.

i was taking a right handed corner at around 80mph i when i went to put more power down i was getting the noise but louder then usual.

ive had the nearside cv joint replaced twice and dont know how well they've replaced the grease, went for mot a couple of weeks ago and did notice a few dabs of cv grease on the inside of my wheel not anywere near the amount that has been around my wheel when the cv boot has came off or split.

i need this sorting asap with a trackday looming i want the car running nicely!

anyway to test cv joint/driveshaft? any other items that may be a problem

took it out today and it didnt seem to be making the noise on a smooth road, is there anything that might make a noise whille accelerating and the car bouncing around?

Engine mount /engine position are the usual isue.

Check the CV gaiter though form what you've said and the shaft/wheel nuts.

does the engine want to be as far back or as far forwards?

also how do i check the shaft? and i guess cv gaiter i just check for tears

bump,

is it possible with the car being pretty light and having 15's on and the suspension is pretty much rock hard (60mm 1.2 springs 172 shocks) thats when im going full thottle on uneven road im losing grip/starting to wheelspin?

i mean if the floors damp and i take it through 2nd when i hit 5k it goes into wheel spin

Shake the shafts see if there any play in the up and down and forward and aft also check the gaiters arn't leaking.

Engine want to be pulled forward as such.

Yep that won't be helping why are you saving a few quid using the whole springs on the car and not using coilovers or the standard 172 springs as i assume they came with the car.

Check the arb bushes and ball joint as well as the stearing rod ends as well.
