Firefox Spelling Checker

Do people on here use it to check the posts they are writing for mistakes?

Can someone tell me how to use it as i cant fathern it out

Does it do it as you are typing or do you have to use it after?

Go to

Tools

Options

then in the tab that you're already in, tick the 'check spelling'

If it's working it will check as you type and underline misspelt words in red. You can then right click on the word in question and it will give you a few alternatives.

You don't have to go into the menus, just right click in the text box and select Check Spelling. It should always remember that setting.

This is why im confused because iv got the box and everything ticked (as Haz said) but its still not checking my spelling in this box its well pissing me off

i can spell but i can't cope with things not working that should lol

Try this. On this forum go to UserCP -> Edit Options

Scroll to the bottom "Message Editor Interface" If the drop down box says "Enhanced Interface" change it to either standard or basic. You may need to restart Firefox I can't remember but try it again and see if it works.
