First drive

Fair few of you lot will have had or will have a first drive in a spanking new car. I doubt many will ever have a first drive like this though.

American picks up his new BMW 335is up in Europe and has a nice run round the Alps before shipping it back to the US.

European delivery is a must IMO considering the car is cheaper and you get a holiday out of it.

Pretty sure European cars that are having a factory collection performed have a temporary plate on them until they get to the country they will be registered. Think of it as a trade plate kind of set up which is removed once it gets where it's going and the local dealer performs a second PDI of sorts and sets up all the electronic systems in the car to the its new home countries spec (think of things like units on trip computers being in miles or km etc things like that)

Great video, really enjoyed it. Yeah, the car is on temporary delivery plates, valid only for a certain amount of time.

I can't see the video, but based on the above comments about delivery in Europe, temp plate then delivery to US of A... is it a LHD or RHD?
