I'm going to try and get one to try out at work. Doubt we'll move to them for everyone just yet as there's always teething troubles.

My 7800GTX512 will be going up on ebay in a couple weeks i would suggest people avoid first revision cards as i know for a fact there is already some issues with them why some of them are no longer in stock due to nvidia recalling them. So keep that in mind. Wait a few weeks for a better revision to come along and more cards to hit the market so prices will drop as well.

But as soon as i have the spare cash will be buying one for my rig. Only reason i did not buy my 2nd graphics card cause i knew these were coming out.

If you really really must get one of these I'd wait a couple of weeks to make sure you don't end up getting one of these recalls, If Scan have had their stock since before last weekend it's possible, I'd suggest you get one from www.overclockers.co.uk who will def have the "corrected" stock if anyone in the UK has

Bigger company yes, bigger in terms of stock of high end pheriperals especially graphics cards def not
OCUK on graphics cards have more stock and better leadtimes/availability/clout than anyone in UK, it also enables them to have ridiculous weekly specials on cards that are last gen or last gen+1, and also stock that exists on the shelves on the day they claim to have stock, also for those that end up snapping up bargains for once flagship cards they always endup buying all remaining stock when their almost impossible to source anywhere else, eg last year X800XT-PE AGP were cheaper than what everyone else was trying to sell X800-XL for, you've only got to checkout the graphics card sub-forum over there and it seems the majority of the hardcore pc gamers don't even look elsewhere

I know exactly where OCUK get all there stock from.

I remember trying to order my X1900XT from our supplier at work. They had 150 in stock in the morning and when I rang back in the afternoon OCUK had bought EVERY single card.

They have done this on a LOT of items and bought everything therefore cornering the market but they offer really good prices.
