Fitting a window regulator

I ve got the old one out; wire was knackered! i have the new one, the only problem is when i look inside the door it appears to still have a yellow clip at the top where the glass should sit! Is this normal i dont seem to be able to get it out!

Right so let me get this straight the clip that attaches to one end of the cable is still attached to window?

yeah thats right, any ideas!

remove the outer seal across the bottom of the door and remove the window. Then you'll be able to get at it easy enough to remove it
