fitting an amp

im about to fit an amp to my clio. not got a clue where to start. how do i get a feed from the battery? Can anyone give me step by step instructions? Its for a new shape 98+ clio.

there is a grommet in the passenger footwell that can be enlarged to accept 2ga power cable



run the cable through this hole down the passenger side of the car (remove seats if your confident enough - if youre not confident just hide it under the plastic trim) then under the rear seats and into the boot

i think i found the gommet, but how do you get the wire from there to the battery? cant see wher eit comes through to the engine bay? do you need to remove anything?
