Fitting Lowering springs to a mk3

Alright pal it's not that hard of a job really mate. You will need spring compressors for the front, start by removing the windscreen wipers, then remove the scuttle board that reveals the top mount cover. Now remove the two bolt that hold the suspension to the hub, and sway bar link bolt, now that's free move to the three bolts holding the top mount on (get ready to catch the suspension when undoing the last bolt) now do the same the other side, now you need to compress the spring and get an Alan key and spanner to undo the top mount. Change the spring over, refit the top mount, and put back together. Rear you just undo the one bolt at the bottom of the shock absorber both sides and leaver it down a bit, pull the springs out, reuse the rubber sleeve off the standard springs and refit job done mate
