Fixing a Corrupt Compact Flash card?

hello all, recently got a camera and cf card... it worked fine for the first few weeks but now when i put it in to the camera (fuji s7000) it says "card not initialized" or "card error" ...

anyone got any ideas to what this could be?

how can i fix it!

Have you tried a format? Either from the camera itself if you can get that far or otherwise in a card reader on the PC.

I've got this on a SD card, I've tried absolutey everything, even the forensic software I use but it appears it's get bad sectors on the card.

hmmm, i have got in touch with lexar, exellent customer service i have to say... sending this one i have to them and they will recover my pictures and send me out a new card
