Flash Intro Help

Hi guys, im working on a website for a guy i know and i would like to add a flash intro to his front page which will then go to his homepage but i cant get my head round using flash.

Any one help?

I would suggest not to use a Flash intro. I don't see the point.

If that's all you want, make it as a gif instead.

download the .flv using this

import the .flv to flash using import video, not just import, and tick to stream.

you'll maybe have to add a counter in to your .fla to tell the .flv to go to your site when the vid has played otherwise it'll just sit there.

add a skip vid button in flash to go staright to your site

publish, amend html page to suit.

upload it all!

Just make it into a moving GIF then hot link it to the website.

Use somthing like Imageready/Newer photoshops.
