folders lost their name tags in XP?

in one folder none of the icons or sub folders have names underneath them, how do I make XP show the names again?

yeah i have had this,,
do they apear when you highlight to rename them

hmmm it is strange, it is affecting one of my folders and not to sure why

If you have the view set to show Thumbnails do the following:
Open the folder to see the thumbnails.
Hold the Shift key down and click on the View button and select Details.
Remove your finger from the Shift key. You now see file names.
Hold the Shift key down and click on the View button and select Thumbnails.
You will now see thumbnails with file names under them.
