No, its a common phase used on this forum, its a bit of harmless fun.

Anyway, if you want to access the members area, the way you can sign up is via the user CP tab at the top to change your member status, then you'll be able to access the newly formed for sale section

I don't own a Clio any more, i own an Ibiza FR TDi before that a MK2 Leon Cupra, but looking for some fun again so i was looking at getteing a 197 then realised the for sale section had been restricted!

Ah ok. Im on my third clio now, nothing else seems to offer the same amount of fun

The forum has had a lot of problems with non members posting adverts for goods that dont exist, hence the restriction on the classifieds at present.

Have you tried the Renaultsport forums? Larger number of 197 owners over there. Pistonheads/ autotrader are your best bet for buying and selling.

I know on Seatcupra.net they don't block anyone from viewing but you have to submit the thread for validation by the admin/mods that way you dont get the dodgy adverts.

we've had some bum on here operating under various user names who has contacted members via PM to offer goods that they are looking for in the wanted section, and its ended up with a few members loosing large amounts of cash, hence the current restriction on any articles for sale to protect the members on here.

Sounds fair enough, although if there is large amounts of money involved it wouldn't surprise me if they just subscribe. Sneaky b*$£ards seem to find a way around these things if they are determind!!
