Wouldn't bother mate, I'd wait till the oil change see what its like but upto you.

its a cheaper way to do an engine flush, i drain the old oil, whack in 2L of random engine oil i have lying about then 3L of diesel to top it up

run it up for 10/15min or so

drain and whack in the new stuff

i only do it after the car has done 70K or so

I thought you were joking, doing it on a 70k plus engine is even worse than a newer engine think of all that diesel sitting in there waiting for that nice new oil.
