Forza 3 online

When I go online with Forza 3, I can only see a few hundred people, sometimes over a thousand, online, most of them playing circuits in class A cars. I would have thought there'd be more people playing than this? Is everyone else seeing similar numbers or is it my connection that's the problem? I've tested it and it seems fine (NAT set to open etc.).

That's what I thought, but it was like that before CoD even came out!

The hopper system is annoying some folk due to it's restrictions, when we play on here we set up our own lobbies so you arent trapped into certain car classes etc.

Just been on gamefaqs.com and some people there seem to be saying the same thing. It could be down do this crappy "hopper system" they've done.

I've noticed it too, How can there possibly be only 300 people online at 7pm racing a curcuit in the whole world lol

Che's posted over on neogaf that more hoppers are going to be up on the servers soon. Hopefully it will encourage people. Not that I give a toss either way as I only tend to race against the CS lot in private lobbies anyway.

It does seem weird that so few people appear to play it online. I guess the game doesn't appeal to the usual 12 year old American brat demographic that dominate most other games.

Its somewhat of a 'specialised' game and won't have the appeal of MW2 but as Turkish says Private lobbys online are where its at, even if you could find an online public game and yes with so few people playing its difficult, some chunt will take it upon himself to drive the wrong way round the circuit or play bumper cars. This is of course somewhat alleivated in a private lobby as you can swap paint carefully!!!

Yep, Those sorts of people wind me up. I was doing well in a race until some c**t went for my back end and spun me. First time he did it i thought oh he must have locked up and carried on,

Then on the race after the c**t did it again deliberatly drove into me at the start line :S So i turned the xbox off fucker wound me up lol
