Freesat.... Where can I buy a Humax FOXSAT box?

  1998 BMW e46 323i
Everywhere I look they're out of stock. I've got a sky dish already and wanna unplug the box and plug and HD compatible freesat box in! It's got BBC HD and will soon have ITV HD too, even has optical out for 5.1 surround sound.

Argos, Currys, John Lewis, Comet OUT OF STOCK.

I'm in the North West, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Due to very high demand there is a shortage of freesat HD boxes in the shops at the moment. We are working with freesat retailers and manufacturers to increase supplies as soon as possible.
In the meantime some freesat retailers will allow you to reserve HD boxes for collection when stock comes in. The freesat website will continue to give you updates.

As far as I know, and according to their website, the places you've mentioned are the only places to selling them. Could check the bay but I'd hold out till they come back in stock at the shops.

I have been following this one- The Freesat website says they are having a struggle to keep up with demand hence the stiock shortage- surprising considering the whole thing has not been widely advertised. I am waitng for the Humax PVR version for an extra £50ish and ITV HD might have started by then also.

Got one! Argos in Peckham. Was in London visiting family, which was nice! I wanted the HUMAX box particularly as I've read many favourable reviews on it AND it has an optical out. My 5.1 surround sound pre-dates HDMI.

Plugged it in to my old SKY dish, and it updated and installed. Every station I watch looks better than it did through the old Sky box, think it upscales and sh1t (showing they are 576i).

BBC HD is immense, watching Galapogos Isles and Indiana Jones last night in 1080i with 5.1, was just like an upscaled DVD. The detailing is great.

I was going to hold out for the PVR, then I heard it could well be £299, and WILL need at twin LNB (which I've not got). I'd rather just have the single tuner, and maybe a DVD recorder hooked up.

Well happy.
