Friends & Family Discounts - New Cars





Just been speaking to my uncle who works for a major dealer down in the south of england which is able to supply most major makes of car, anyone know what friends and family discounts people can get for makes such as volkswagen, alfa and any others? i know renault is around 22%.

Cant your uncle find out for you? A friend of ours from the south where we used to live, works for Renault and he also sponsors and spanners for another friend in Superbikes and he told me that he is allowed to get several Renaults each year for friends and family @ 22% discount but he said he cant get it off a V6 for me as they are in short supply!!

Isnt that just typical!!

GR, I am e-mailing him on monday for a list of the discounts, just wanting to know now so i can start planning for a new car for next september!

We can get about 20% off GM cars (Vauxhall, Saab etc), but its not the whole range - just the ones they want to shift. So at the moment you get nothing off a new Vectra for example, but loads off Astras as theyre about to be replaced. I think a lot of the schemes work like this.

Needless to say Ive never taken advantage of this scheme!

No, I work for a company that used to be owned by GM (EDS). Despite the fact that were independent now, we still get the discount scheme for some reason.

my uncle works for dixon motors , not in sales or that but in their it department as a systems analyst
