front bumpers

how easy is it to fit a front bumper? im replacing the one i have now with the one that has the fog lights, just looks a bit better.

any advice would be appreciated, thanks

You're a little vague?

What model to start with? Mk2 yes... but ph2? Ph1? Sport? Non Sport?

Also, if it's possible to add fogs to your current setup, that'd be a lot easier.

sorry, as you can tell im newbie. its a ph1 MTV if that helps. thats what i was thinking but im not sure with the bumper i currently have that you can just add them on?

Surely just a case of popping the blanking plates out and fitting the lights?

you will be able to just pop them in the old bumper

Some (not many) ph1 bumpers do not have "blanking plates" they are unfortunately "blessed" with just plastic mould there.

Either way it's an easy job... You don't even need to jack it up if its not lowered (although it may help 1st time)

Wheels on full lock
Undo archliner torx screw
Repeat on other side
Pull back arch liner and undo 10mm bolt holding bumper to wing
Same on other side
Undo 2x 10mm bolts under the car (holding the plastic under tray to the car)
Pull the corners out
Pull bumper off
