Funny noise?!!

My 182 has been making this noise for a while it sounds like air whoosing like a turbo sucking in air when the car is under acceleration (stops when i change gear)
I have previously replaced the exhaust mounts and they are not broken because i have checked.
It may also worth be worth mentioning that i had this noise before on my original exhaust then it went when i fitted my new exhaust but the problem seems to have come back!! Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated or advice if anyone on here has had this problem before? thanks in advance!!

Does the noise happen when the car is just idling? Like if you sit on the driveway and rev to 3k? A way to check for exhaust blowing, is to have the car running, get a big lump of rag and cover the exhaust pipes. The pressure should build up if the exhaust is fine and well sealed. If not, there's your problem..

I dont get a noise when idling only when the car is acclerating on the road, but thanks for the advice ill still give it a go and see what happens.
