Garmin nuvi 200 broken!!!

well as the title says my nuvi 200 is broken, it wont pick up a satlite and my question is should i change it for a tomtom one? or get it replaced with another nuvi.

Unusual for a nuvi, get onto garmin they will probably just swap it for a new one, I wouldn't bother getting a TT, the nuvi's are far superior.

e-mail garmin support they area rally got alternatively tak eit back thr shop show it not working and the will replace it, was it halfords you got it from??

yeh it was halfords, the satnav tech guy was on his dinner so i'm going to have to go back tomorrow, think i'll stick with the garmin i think its broken because for some reason it fell off the screen whilst on the motorway, think it must have been on some condensation or something but it hasnt worked properly since. No marks or anything on it though so looks like its just mechanical failure

lol @ sat nav tech guy...

they will just ring garmin support who will authorise the exchange for a new one and give the store a RMA for the old one to go back anyone in store can do it and u should walk out with a new one there and then.

Best thing about garmin warranty its exchanged based not repair

Did you try a full reset of the thing?

mine gas fallen off a few times, it like the suction cup looses suction when the screens temp changes. trya hard reset with button under the gps flap, you might want to try the garmin firmware update.-- both thing wont void the warranty.
