i hav a 2002 clio 172 . just had new box but in at 80.000miles and wen i floor it in 1st then change into 2nd ther is a crunching noise ????? does any 1 no wot it is . due 2 the dealer puttin the box in sayin its the clutch ????? :dapprove: can any 1 help me ?????????

If it's a new box I would imagine it is the clutch that needs adjusting.

tbh the dealer should have done the clutch at the same time, take it back

i took the car bk but thy sed it will cost me £200 £300 to replace the clutch ???? so u think that its the clutch that is done in

and if so wonts the best clutch 2 get

Dealer you went to sounds abit rubbish TBH, who doesn't recommend putting a new clutch in when changing a gearbox???

tar m8 so any clutch realy ???? thats good . and the dealer sed that they wnt replace the clutch due 2 wear ???? . so were is this birchdown located the m8 . i live in the north west ( runcorn) thanks for that m8
