gear knob

the gear knob in my dynamique is v worn n don't think i can just repaint it as the numbers wouldn't be there anymore. any1 got any ideas on what i can do. new ones r v expensive go for about 40 quid on ebay. :S

get ine from a authentique or expression and spray it silver, these got for £5 or less if you got to a scrappy. they have the numbers embossed not mainted on to the gearmarkings stay once you paint it.
