gear stick wobble on acceleration and decelleration

  S2000
ah, it's a 1.2 16v you have. I had pressumed you had a Mk1 1.8 16v going by your profile. I'm not sure about Mk2's tbh so I'll let someone else help you out on this one.

Has

  RS 182 - Black Gold
the 1.2 16v always suffers from thsi rather badly !!

Not found a cure for it tho....

no bushes as such, just a dogbone shaped forged metal link, with rubber i suppose what u mite call "bushes" on each end, just bold it on.

Also check the link from the dogbone to the gearbox, usually a blue metal shape, that bolts on with two big bolts onto the box, make sure that is blodey tight and not loose, the bolts on my RT were slightly loose, and as the holes on the box are a mm too big, it generates quite a lot of movement.

Why is there a 1.2 16v mount on ur valver?
and i think i'm right in saying all clio gear sticks move a little bit... so u wont get rid of it completely.
