guy near me is selling a gbox from a 05 182 just wondering if i can put this on my 53 172 as it would be good if i can buy it knowing i have a spare

Yep.
The 182 box is uprated slgithy better clips for example.

Yep its the longest ratio one but its not a huge difference.
Just thought Batman does you car run the Cup conversion if so then you cannot use the box the Cup box has a gearbox sensor it depends what conversion you've got I didn't think to ask.
