depends if you have mechanical or electronic speedo drive, if electronic then the 182 will fit, if not then you can only use a 172 one with mechanical drive.

Its sort of the same yep.

197 box won't fit straight off you need you make adapter plates etc and new shafts to make it work since its the new big plate clucth system.
