From the clio range what gearboxes are ok to go in a 16v and what arent

any help will be appreciated

Any box you like squire.

Also if you are willing to branch out you can get the same boxes from any transverse renault.

Only diff is the ratios and tin sump engines will leave a gap at the bottom of the bellhousing on ally sump engines which is nothing to worry about.

So does that mean u could put any Renanlt gearbox in the clio ie an Avantime or 6 speed diesel from the Megan?

yes you can put any gear box in any car if you wanted you just gotta get a bellhousing that fits and then connect it all up if you have the cash anything is possible
