gettin rid of rust

Hiya guys, newbie here so be nice

jus purchased ma clio RT , mk1 93, white, e/w r/c/l, sunroof, body coloured bumpers with 53k on clock for 1350

pretty happy with that i was!

anyway, theres a cple of tiny bits of rust and i was wonderin wot the best method of dealin with them was?

have it cut out & replaced with new metal........sounds drastic......but that is the only real way of getting rid of it

unless its stone chip size.......then you could sand it down ,treat it with rust eater & then re-spray
