Getting music off my ipod

How do I get music off my Ipod? My computer was wiped recently and I thought Id lost my ipod.

Found it in the glove box So theres hope yet!

No, if he tried that he'd end up with a blank Ipod.

You using a Mac or *spits* PC ?

If you purchased your songs legitimately, you can authorise your computer/iTunes again and they'll download from the iPod back to PC. If not and it's all gone from your HD, there isn't much hope matey, I just wouldn't sync your iPod.

I know of something which works and is slow, its on my external HD somewhere but i'll find it if you really need it?

Its got a load of random file names though. Im going to try and substitute my new itunes folder with the itunes info stored on the ipod.
