Getting photos from the camera roll?

How do I do this using my macbook pro? Could do it easily on my old pc but im not used to my MBP yet. thanks.

How are you reading the device? Card reader or pluggin it in the side? Whats the memory card?

connected via usb from iphone to MBP

search for image caputue in the spotlight search bar in the top righthand corner of the screen, its the little magnifying glass and make sure the iPhone is connected by usb and happy days

If I load iPhoto with my iPhone connected it automatically reads it as a device and lists it on the left of the window.
