girlfriends glue on paintwork

my gf got superglue on the paint of her vw lupo.

anyone know any way of getting it off without damaging the paint work?

Superglue remover ? or is that too obvious ?

Test on something painted you don't need first !

Try AG tar remover.

Superglue remover will strip the paint more then likely.

it's been covered before. Can't remember what the outcome was. Depends on amount, and i'd doubt it would bind that well to a smooth surface, so clay, fingernail or as said, solvents.

WTF was she doing with the superglue in the first place. We all know they cant be trusted

Wet sand it down with a really fine grain paper and then buff it up afterwards.

Tenner says she glued a GTI badge to it

hahah i know, she painted her badges white on her lupo and she tried glueing them back on :banghead:

her lupo is rather epic though, all under my influence lol

i will try clay and maybe nail varnish remover

well not really she just took the big vw badge off the back and sprayed it and put it back on.

and now expects me to have the magical answer of how to fix it!
